Strongest & High Performance Polyethylene Yarn (UHMWPE fiber)
The strongest and high performance polyethylene yarn (or call Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene Fiber, UHMwPE yarn, UHMW Polyethylene Yarn, UHMWPE fiber, HPPE fiber) is a continuous and bright white high performance polyethylene multi-filament yarn. It's light than water and the tenacity is more than 10 times stronger than high quality steel and around 40 percent greater than aramid fiber. The modulus is very high and the elongation at break is very low.
The UHMWPE fiber is typical designed for protective clothing / bulletproof materials application and the finally using is apply to bulletproof body armor products like body armor vest, body armor insert plates and ballistic helmet, ballistic armoured panel and so on. On the other side, it also could apply to high level cut resistant gloves and easy to meet EN388 level 3 when use it stand alone or mixed with glass fiber or wire to meet level 5. And also, it applies to strongest but ultra fine fishing or kite lines, strongest but ultra lightweight ropes, strongest commercial fishing nets or cargo nets and so on. And it is easy to twist before use or easy mix with most of other quality fibers.
And we supply type 400D/240F filament yarn (around 35cN/dtex and has 240 filaments per tow and the dpf is only around 1.67 denier) for cut resistant glove and also supply strongest 600D/240F, 1200D/400F, 1600D/600F, 200D/80F, 150D/60F, 100D or fine to 50D fiber for difference application and all of them has tested from CTTC according on ISO-2062 standard with special testing equipment.
For the UHMWPE fiber, that has around 100 tons per month in total could be delivery.
