The Ultrafine Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) Yarn is a continuous and bright white polyethylene multi-filament yarn. It's light than water and the tenacity is more than 10 times stronger than high quality steel and around 40 percent greater than Aramid fiber. The modulus is very high and the elongation at break is very low. It is one of the main fibers to make the protective and bullet proof materials in the world today. The PEUD is a unidirectional bullet proof fabric which made from several layers of the UHMW PE yarn. All the fibers' direction in each layer at 90 angles to the adjacent layers?fibers and all the fibers are laid paralleled in the same plain. The unidirectional fabric's anti-ballistic performance is higher than other conventional woven fabrics because the energy transferred from the bullet/ballistic threat to be distributed along the fibers very quick. | WHAT IS SAP (SOFT ARMOR PANEL)? |

The SAP (soft armor panel) is the soft ballistic system of the bullet proof vest. It is made from multilayer PEUD (or Aramid) and sews into a water resistant cover fabric with anti-blunt trauma layers. It is easy to insert and remove from the outer shell of the vest. The SAP has big cover around the body and it is typical designed to against handguns?(pistol) bullet or together with HAP to against level III or IV strikes. Its typical protect level is NIJ level IIIA, level 9mm, II or IIA. The best SAP should be lightweight, comfortable, and minimizing blunt trauma deformation after strikes from bullet. The NIJ defined the maximum indication of blunt trauma is 1.7 inch (44mm) deformation on a soft clay testing backstop. Our internal standard is 1 inch (25mm) which more stringent than NIJ requirements. And also, we could reduce to 0.4inch (10mm) or more better if required.

| WHAT IS HAP (HARD ARMOR PLATE)? |

The HAP (Hard Armor Plate) is a part of ballistic system of the vest. It is always use together with a level IIIA (SAP) vest to against M16 rifle, 7.62mm NATO rifle, AK47, Dragunov rifle, or Armor piercing bullets with high velocity. Why to use it? The reason is the soft armor panel (SAP) can against them. So, if it is required to against high velocity rifle or the steel core or higher bullets (included shot from high velocity pistols like 7.62x25mm steel core bullet fire from TT pistol or Chinese 54 type handgun) then, it need HAP together with the vest to against it. The HAP is laminated from a lot of PEUD or composite with ballistic ceramic so, it is a heavy product and for the personal total loading weight thinking, it always just design to protect front chest, back chest, and sides with typical size around 10"x 12"(25cm x 30cm) or 6"x 8"(15cm x 20cm). So, for a bullet proof vest, where have the HAP, where should can has high level protection with the level of the vest. But for the ceramic composite type plates, it maybe not full of the plate size can meet the protect level because of a lot of the plate in the market has empty margin without ceramic to save the weight so, it become light but the empty area of the plate can meet the level. Some of the plates in the market leave a big empty area on the plate but we always not suggest. Our internal standard is no empty margin for with vest level III and level IV plate and not more than 12.5mm margin for standalone plate.
For a HAP, it always is curved (single or multi) for comfortable thinking and also, labeled a strike face. (see NIJ level III bullet proof plate or NIJ level IV bullet proof plate)

| WHAT IS BULLET PROOF VEST? |

The bullt proof vest is made from the SAP with a outer carry vest system. The outer carry vest system is a garment level product but with high strenght main fabrics like polyester oxford 600D - 1000D, Nylon 500D - 1000D, Cordura® 1000D and Polycotton. And the main fabric normally with water resistant function on face and heavy duty PU coat on back side to enhance the performance of strength when carring. Also, the flame resistant, UV against, infrared against function had more and more been used in the main fabric of outer carry vest system based on the specified requirements from the police and military. The outer carry vest system could be different color special in camouflage according to different enveroment. The outer carry vest system is a non-bullet proof product before with the SAP so, the SAP is the most important and kernel part of a bullet proof vest and the SAP has itsself protect level so, where the SAP covered then where can be protect the body with the SAP's protect level (accord to NIJ standard). For level III and level IV bullet proof vest, that has two pieces extra HAP based on SAP and all of the SAP and HAP can easily install and take off from the outer carry vest system for washable and storage thinking. Our standard vest are designed according to European Sizing so, it is maybe different from your country if you are not belong this region. But anyways, it is easy for you to choose a correct size. For example, the size of most Asian countries has one size small than European sizing so, the Europen Medium size should be Aisan Large size. And also, the European sizing has one size small than United State American sizing so, the European X-Large size should be American Large size.
After you confirm that which sizing suitable for your country with our sales then, we will make and label it with the correct size of your country.
